A prophet finally arrives in 1856 AD. At this point a golden age is far more powerful then a shrine, so I trip my final GA. An engineer arrives in 1868 AD. He is merged into London for lack of a better idea. I get a merchant in 1882 AD. I simply put him on hold. It is to late in the game for merging, trade mission or research to matter.
Summary: I feel I hit the goal to dominate the New World well. I controlled every tile of the main landmass, and only missed 5 tiles on the islands despite the one Indian city.
