Epic 9, the modern era

Qin has completed the Apollo Program. Qin is in bad tech shape, as he still needs liberalism and democracy. However, I am behind Gandhi whom will probably complete Apollo soon. Gandhi has completed Scotland Yard, as he sabotaged my aluminum tile. I had enough idle workers to immediately rebuild it. I draw another prophet, and decide to trip my only GA.

I get screwed again with landings. My oil in Japan is pillaged. I don't see who despite show AI movement option is on. I build another denial wonder, as I completed Rock and Roll. I continue to get proof that Civ4 has a better idea how to make landings. 6 tanks, 1 marine, and 1 artillery piece just showed up by Turfan. At least this time I saw it.

It took a large stack of tanks, but the Indian homeland lost all towns. I don't think Indian can launch on me at this point. I eventually lost all of them, but it was worth it.

I don't think I will make it to space as I originally planned. Time victory is the only viable option with 50 turns left, and Qin just built the Manhattan project. With being barely in first, a single nuke hit will cost me the game. I will take AW Pangaea over islands any day. The constant landings have gotten very tiresome. 5 Gunships and 3 artillery pieces have landed by Kyoto.

I finally get some good news, and complete the Internet. I never thought I would be happy to see Al Gore. I took me from a 50 point deficit for 2nd place to 1st place with 150 point lead. It is to little, to late, but I complete the space elevator with 31 turns left.

My final score was an embarrassing 3,681.
