I sacrifice my last GP in 1927 AD. The era of the Sky Gods is ending, and there is no reason to delay their use. The next turn sees one die to a Japanese SAM infantry.
The game is over, and I won by domination in 1928 AD.
This game did not play out as I expected. The first big thing that hurt was the starting location. I think Roman starting spot would have been best giving 4 directions to attack. I was trapped between attacking Khan or Cyrus. Attacking Cyrus before astronomy would have been very painful, as I would have lost all trade routes.
In addition, I think my mass wonder building plan wasn't optimal. I suspect running Caste System and a specialist economy would have generated more specialists early when the Sky Gods would have been more useful. By the time I was fighting Japan the value was dropping and one was shot down just as the game ended.
You can tell this was a late victory with the low score.
