Epic 8, the medieval era (continued)

Well add another thing to the list of problems. We shall see if this forces the end of the war with China.

The pound on China campaign continues. China is a non-player at this point.

Rome signs peace with China, so I enlist him to distract Japan. At this point I also sign peace with China despite that fact I can only get cash from him. Civ4 is really tough for pointy-stick research.

I swear I have never seen the game go so whacko before. This really qualifies for a WHAT THE??? Now the English are at war with me.

Of course the English pillages a cottage to nothing forcing my science back to 40%. My empire badly needs more markets and to a lesser degree courts.

I get another scientist and discover philosophy with him. I think I will pass on pacifism with 2 wars going on.

This game is truly earning the total WT????? award. I don't remember signing up for AW. Fortunately I pretty much nullify this one by getting Rome to cancel deals with Roosevelt. I don't see how America can bring troops my way.

I finally have a source of stone after most of the good stone wonders are gone. At this point this front is going into hold mode.

England begins to pay the price for declaring war.

The game from hell continues. This forces an end to the English war just as I had enough troops to rip Elizabeth to shreds. Moving stacks from one side of the map to the other is very time consuming. The only good thing is the $500 I got from her upgrades a few more troops. With the obscene amount of wars I need to push my troop quantity and quality like crazy.

America eventually comes to me to end the phony war.

Mansa pays the price for choosing unwisely. You can also see how well praetorians ate through Japan.

I get a good break when Arabia and England go to war. Hopefully they waste a lot of troops against each other.

I enter the renaissance era in 1460 AD.
