This is how painfully close I am with taking out all of Arabia. It looks like I only will need two or three Roman cities that come out of revolt. With me starting to build tanks, the Roman SAM infantry don't look as scary.

This game proves the power of a good shrine and Wall Street. As large as the Egyptian empire is over 20% of its income at 0% science is from the Confucian shrine.

This is the big push for claim former Japan. I gain a nice block of terrain, yet add very little border to defend.

The Roman counterattack at Osaka turns out far more brutal then I expected. I just couldn't handle the sheer volume of artillery that came at me. I fully expected Rome to retake the city.
Now I have to hope the north is weaker. The capture of Neapolis puts me very close to domination.

The just recently captured Edo turns into another blood bath. All of the troops with movement left moved in, yet only 3 badly damaged units survive.

I don't think I need to capture any more cities to win. I simply need to not lose any, and hold on to the 2 captures from Rome. I only need 0.68% more to win. It will be a painful set of turns if Rome hasn't already burned its offensive force.
I reclaim Osaka purely from a sense of pride. It puts me at 61.92%. I am frustrated when Neapolis comes out of resistance, and the game still isn't over. Hopefully getting the first border expansion will do the trick next turn.
You can see that Egypt was already the dominant power before the 17th century.

This is the final map. Egypt and Rome are the only powers worth mentioning.
Domination was achieved in 1895 AD.
