Epic 13, the industrial era

I thought I started it to late, but I built the SoL in 1716 AD. With my empire size, the free specialist will really help. Representation and SoL is still a killer combination.

War returns in 1730 when I decide it is time for Pascal to go away.

I get a prophet in 1740 AD. The only remaining shrine is Islam with 1% of the world. Even though I own that holy city, I don't feel it will be worth the effort to needed to get the religion spread. The city is lacking a monastery and scientific method just around the corner. I start another golden age.

I get another prophet in 1758 AD. I think the odds of 3 more unique GP is low, so I simply merge him into my income city of Cahokia. The will make Wall Street that much better once I built it there.

I complete the Pentagon in 1818 AD.
I get another merchant that performs a trade mission.

With the world going to war I decide to go after the Dutch in 1840 AD.
Has the max number of resistance turns gone up? I don't recall seeing an absurd 11 turns before.

That eliminates all of the mainland cities, so I sign peace with the Dutch banishing them to a junk island in the north. I sign peace and accept their capitulation.

I entered the modern era in 1869 AD.
